Namema is a U.S. trained attorney and policy specialist with experience in technology policy, telecommunications regulation, and international development. He currently serves as Director of Legal and Regulatory Affairs at Vernonburg Group, where he advises governments, development institutions, and private sector clients on broadband expansion and digital infrastructure projects across Africa, Latin America, and Asia.
Earlier in his career, Namema worked in public policy roles in Washington, D.C., including at Meta, focusing on platform governance and regulatory policy.
At Musimbi Global, he supports the organization’s legal governance, institutional partnerships, and long-term integration of its maternal health programs within national health systems.
